WINTER VALLEY REGIONAL RAILWAY

Looking west from the platform in Belleville you can just make out the bridge over the Moira River on the far left. The CN/VIA tracks are north of the old city center while the original Canadian Pacific line is right down town next to Highway 2 and along the shore of the Bay of Quinte. The dome observation car is Kootenay Park.

I have a friend who has designed and built himself over 90 fully operational N scale signal lights. That’s LEDs in switch stands and signal bridges. They’re really something to see but he just never seems to get time to do any real railroading. The signals here are a major feature of this scene and it would be great to have them working on a layout, even a basic form, but perhaps we should start out with something simpler.
