Back in the true center of the country you can find this pretty little shed just North West of Winnipeg on the line to Grosse Isle. Back in 1987 we took a few pictures while running along side of the Prairie Dog Central on the Oak Point Sub.

I expect this shed is designed more for human habitation than simply a place to keep a speeder or some tools. There is a pleasant little architectural feature over the clean white door and a radio antenna pointing back towards Winnipeg. Power is supplied overhead and there are curtains, of a kind, in the windows.

This fine building made it’s way on my layout up at the yard entrance to Colder. A still photo can be seen at http://wvrr.ca/update_July%202005/IMG P0128.JPG and a not to crisp video of a passing train is at http://wvrr.ca/video/ Over%20High%2 0Pass.AVI
