Google Earth puts this trestle at 52 deg 52’ 37.52” N and 111 deg 03’ 21.48” W. The top of the valley levels out at 2200 feet and, over a period of 10,000 years, the river carved out a winding path for itself 250 feet below. Formally known as the Battle River Bridge, the 2775 foot long 195 foot high trestle was completed in December 1910 and taken over by the Canadian National Railway upon the bankruptcy of its builder.
