Check out this bank. Rock solid and conservative, the one secure brick building on Main Street once kept all the towns’ accounts as well as Granddad’s old coin collection. No ATM, open at 10 AM and closed again at 3:30, and never on weekends. The manager was that gray haired guy in the three-piece suit and the tellers, all young ladies, never came out from behind those brass bars at the front of the line.

Today though it’s a fine, two-story house for a young family. Picked up at a rock bottom price, it was completely made over by the new handy-man owner. On the outside it still maintains the square shoulders of the original building but it now has a warm heart with a playground in the back and a nice shady, tree covered lawn at the side. Add a few obligatory wagon wheels and you’ve made yourself a home. There are quite a few small commercial building models on the market. Did anyone ever look past the intended use?
