This Montreal Locomotive Works FPB-4 was unique to Canada and sadly it’s the only one left intact. Built for CN in 1958 as # 1057, though later renumbered to 6861, she also served with VIA and provided parts to CP before being donated to the Wainwright Railway PreservationSociety in 2003. Although it’s pretty much run down now, this engine offers a first hand opportunity for serious modellers to get right up close for detail measurements.

There are none of these in my scale but the Aristocraft FB-1 (Some well say it’s a FB-2) comes as close as it’s going to get in the foreseeable future. Better modellers have done an admirable conversion using it as a starting point.
