Another picture of the operation in Wilkie Saskatchewan. While it still maintains some of the character of its early wooden ancestors it also shows off many it’s modern features. It towers nearly double the height of its 73 foot predecessor. That traditional rectangular, outside braced annex is now a stainless steal tower. The offices are clean and modern and the yard is far to busy with the comings and goings of heavy trucks to allow even a blade of grass to grow near the scale house road. Cylindrical ‘Trudeau Hoppers’ displaced 40-foot boxcars many years ago. See http://www.trainsc an.com/data/gc/cxwx.html
