WINTER VALLEY REGIONAL RAILWAY

Early afternoon is usually the warmest part of the day but it’s still pretty darn cold out on the bald prairie. There might be a little shelter from the persistent breeze down in those bushes but up on the line those four GMD1’s are facing into the full winter wind. It’s a short 12 car ballast train on the Avonlea Sub. Nothing two engines couldn’t handle with ease but the cold dictates having extra power along just in case. Something you could do in the train room if you ever want to show off your whole fleet.
