WINTER VALLEY REGIONAL RAILWAY

Cole’s General Store sold tires and tea bags, bikes and boots, hair nets and hammers. Mansel himself was so busy he had to buy two trucks just to pick up goods at the station and deliver them to nearly everyone within a 15 mile radius of town. He built his foundations well.

I have only seen one simple concrete foundation on a model railroad and that was beside the tracks just a little way down from an existing grain elevator. The owner was modelling a modern branch line located somewhere in ‘the West’ and used the scene to highlight the recent transition to larger terminal facilities.
