It’s 1963 and there’s the bell. Just where God intended it. Add to the great scene my all time favourate railway paint scheme and some early ditch lights added only at Jasper westbound and Vancouver eastbound. Take note of the small portion of track that’s showing in this photo. Perfect in every way. I expect they even painted that signal and the signpost on the left just for this picture. That reefer is still there. Does anyone know what exactly was in those things that couldn’t be moved on a regular train? Just wondering.
